Launching Ceremony
The Peninsula held its launching ceremony, heralding the addition of 800 rooms to accommodate the state’s fast-reviving tourism sector upon the completion of The Peninsula Kota Kinabalu by 2028.
Unveiling the project in the central business district (CBD) on 8 February 2024 (Thursday), Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor underscored the integrated mixed-development’s affirmation of Trillium Development Sdn Bhd’s confidence in Sabah’s sturdy property market.
Hajiji expressed certainty that the latest development, along with other waterfront mixed-developments, will bolster investor trust in Sabah’s property sector.
The development entails the construction of service apartment blocks, premium residential towers, office blocks, shopping malls, a multi-storey car park, commercial suites, a four-star hotel (Grandis) and a five-star hotel (The Peninsula).
Chief Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor being briefed by Trillium Development Sdn Bhd CEO Mr Clement Chu and Ming Kiang Group CEO Dr Lawrence Chu in conjunction with the grand launching of The Peninsula KK.
